MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES
FULL MEMBERSHIP
For members with a Dental Technology qualification and registration with the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN). Includes access to CPD, log book, and professional indemnity insurance offers. 24-hour helpline and support documents included.

DUTIES OF THE ADTN TO MEMBERS
a) To promote the art, science and practice of the profession of Dental Technology and Allied Subjects in Nigeria.
b) To facilitate and ensure the exchange of information, experience and ideas on matters affecting the practice, science and art of Dental Technology in Nigeria.
c) To promote and maintain the general welfare and conditions of practice of the profession of Dental Technology in Nigeria.
d) To create and hold funds, which shall be available for furthering the objectives of the ADTN.
e) To promote national and international co-operation in all fields of science, art and practice of Dental Technology and its allied subjects.
f) To promote research and development that will enhance the practice of dental technology in Nigeria.
g) To establish a structure that encourages effective coordination of members of the ADTN throughout Nigeria.
h) To liaise with other international associations on best practices for the profession worldwide.
i) To sensitize members on current innovations in dental technology through regular publications.
j) To liaise with the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN) regularly on issues bordering improvement of the profession.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBERS TO ADTN
1. Financial Commitment: It is one of the duties of every genuine member of the ADTN to contribute to the Association coffer which will be available for the furtherance of the association goals and objectives in Nigeria.
2. Observation of rules and regulation: It is the duty and responsibility of every member to the ADTN to abide and obey the rules and the regulations guiding it. This will promote discipline and sanity among the members.
3. Advancement of the profession: Every member for the purpose of progress of the ADTN must contribute meaningfully and legitimately for the advancement of the association in Nigeria.
4. Acquaintance with the code of ethics: This spells out the decorum, rights of the members of the association, relationship of the professional colleagues. It also has to do with the members’ relationship with dental patients as well as the services the ADTN renders to the public in Nigeria. Additionally, every member should ensure the enforcement of the code of ethics and be prepared for its interpretation.
MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All members of the ADTN agree to the ADTN Membership Terms and Conditions detailed below. Membership is only open to individuals based in Nigeria or ADTN registrants living overseas. Membership payments are non-refundable. The subscription is valid for 12-months from the date of registration. If you joined or renewed online since September 2020, membership is auto-renewed each year on a 12-month basis. Members can manage their membership subscription in their membership account by logging in. If you pay your membership or renewal late, the date of your membership remains as the original date and the ADTN will not extend the expiry date. Professional indemnity insurance, exclusive to ADTN members only, is an optional opportunity to apply for professional indemnity at a special discounted premium rate through a third-party partner. The indemnity cover is not included in the price of the ADTN membership. If your ADTN membership expires, your professional indemnity insurance will no longer be valid and a claim cannot be made. By becoming a member of the ADTN, you give your consent to the ADTN to retain your details for a legitimate purpose in accordance with the 2018 General Data Protection Regulations to enable ADTN to provide you with membership services. A copy of the ADTN GDPR policy and your rights under these regulations is available upon request.
